Harput Textile

   The Harput Group started with Harput Textiles, which was founded in Gökçen Han, Bursa, in 1980. During the 1980’s, it establishes itself in the textile sector, and during the industrialization era of the 1990’s, it advanced further at a bold pace. Between 1990 and 1995, ambitious targets were realized, thanks to strong foundations of caring management and modest expansion. Since 1995, we have achieved a much higher rate of growth, by investments in technology and highly skilled personnel.

    Harput Textile is one of the most important members of the Group, with its sizing, twisting, and ready-to-wear factories in the Bursa Industrial Estate. The weaving factory, built on a 28,000 m integrated site, has drown to deliver a monthly production capacity of 550,000 meters of fabric, produced from 143 looms, including 83 dobby (maximum width 360 cm.) and 60 jacquard machines. Current investment plans include the addition of 157 more looms.

    Harput Textile has made its mark in the Turkish home textile sector, thanks to a wide and unique product range, including tulle, organza, net curtaining fabrics, satin, and taffeta. In our ready-to-wear facility, we carry out design, cutting confection, and packaging operations.

    Singe 1997, we have invested in warp preparation at our Demirtaş site, to meet the requirements of the Group’s fabric production. The warping plant is located on an 8,000 m site, and comprises 37 2-for-1 twister,2 polyester and 1 cotton sizing machines. The establishment of this warping factory has taken the Harput Group one step closer to a fully integrated textile manufacturing operation.
